Starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo once again, To All The Boys I've Loved Before: Always and Forever follows the teenage sweethearts as they prepare for the end of high school and eagerly wait for their college acceptance (or rejection) letters.

While the pair plan to both attend Stanford University after graduating, a pair of life-changing trips opens Lara Jean's options up and she begins to reimagine what her future could look like.

Based on Jenny Han's novel of the same name, the first romcom debuted in 2018 to huge success on Netflix, with the sequel P.S. I Still Love You dropping in 2020.

What time is To All The Boys 3 on Netflix?

The third movie in the franchise is now streaming Netflix, as of 8am on Friday 12th February 2021 – just in time for Valentine's Day and a year after the sequel's release.

Thankfully, the film finished shooting before the pandemic began to affect production around the world, and so it hasn't been hit by any major delays.

To All the Boys 3 cast: Who stars in To All The Boys Always and Forever?

Lana Condor, and Noah Centineo are both returning to lead the To All The Boys 3 cast, while Janel Parrish, Anna Cathcart, Madeleine Arthur, Sarayu Blue and John Corbett are all expected to return as well.

But fans could have seen the last of Jordan Fisher - his character John Ambrose doesn't appear in the book and so unless some major changes are made he won't play a part in the film either.

Momona Tamada also confirmed she's returned - she played the younger version of Lara Jean.

To All the Boys 3 plot: What will Always and Forever be about?

The film's official synopsis reads: "As Lara Jean Covey prepares for the end of high school and the start of adulthood, a pair of life-changing trips lead her to reimagine what life with her family, friends, and Peter will look like after graduation.

"Senior year of high school takes center stage as Lara Jean returns from a family trip to Korea and considers her college plans — with and without Peter."

Part of the sequel will also be set in South Korea (a fact confirmed by Jenny Han) with Lara and her sister both sent by their father to spend their holidays with their grandmother.

Meanwhile according to director Michael Fimognari, we can also see some changes in Peter Kavinsky's life, with Fimognari telling Harper's Bazaar, "There’s a growth to the character and the way that Noah explores that and the way that he involves his other cast members.”

And Condor has also given some more information about the next chapter, telling The Hollywood Reporter, "It's her senior year, so she's trying to figure out actually what she's going to do for her future, like making choices for what's right for you versus what you want in the moment because you want to stay with someone. That's super difficult, right?

"What I can say is she faces some real, real life choices. What I love about the third movie is she fully comes into her own. It's a full beginning, middle, end, and for me, that was great as an actor because I had all the time in the world to play and to grow and to feel good with the way that we ended things."

To All The Boys 3 book

As with the first two films, the third film will be based on the novels by Jenny Han, particularly the third book in the To All the Boys trilogy, titled Always and Forever, Lara Jean. The film adaptation boasts a slightly tweaked title – To All The Boys: Always and Forever.

The main focus of the book is the end of Lara Jean's high school years and her subsequent move to college – as well as the tribulations she faces in this time regarding her relationship with Peter.

The book covers the excitement of prom, the potential of a relationship going wrong when moving from high school to college (with Lara Jean and Peter accepted to different schools) and also a new wife for Lara Jean's Dad - who marries next door neighbour, Ms. Rothschild, whom he began seeing in the second film.

The trailer indicates the film will follow the books' plot, but it remains to be seen if the film adds in a few extra bits or makes any tweaks. The first two films did change a few plot points as well as fleshing out a few other parts, but the main plot and journey remained the same, which went down well with fans.
